Visa Type Fee (USD Approx.) Description
Reguläres Visum zur einmaligen Einreise
$50
Für die meisten Touristen geeignet
Visum zur mehrfachen Einreise
$100
Für Vielreisende oder Geschäftsreisende
Transitvisum
$30–$35
Für kurze Zwischenaufenthalte (max. 7 Tage)
Geschäftsvisum
$250
Für berufliche Aufenthalte und Geschäftsreisen

Park Approx. Entrance Fee (USD Per Day)
Serengeti-Nationalpark
$70
Ngorongoro-Krater
$70 (zuzüglich Krater-Servicegebühr: $295 pro Fahrzeug/Tag)
Tarangire-Nationalpark
$50
Lake-Manyara-Nationalpark
$50
Ruaha-Nationalpark
$50

4. Unterkunftskosten

Die Wahl Ihrer Lodge oder Ihres Camps hat großen Einfluss auf den Preis Ihrer Safari.

Category Price Range (USD Per Night) Description
Preisgünstige Lodges/Camps
$50–$150
Komfortabel, sauber, grundlegende Ausstattung
Lodges der Mittelklasse
$200–$400
Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, hervorragender Service, gutes Essen
Luxus-Lodges
$600–$1,200+

Had such an amazing time climbing Kilimanjaro and doing a four day safari. I highly recommend using them for your trip to Tanzania. Julius is such a nice guy and I can’t fault him or his team. He was really good at replying and answering all my questions before, during and after my trip. We had Geoffrey and OT as our guides for Kilimanjaro and they were very good, helpful and made sure we had a good and memorable experience and I wouldn’t have made it to the top without them. We had Ellie as our guide for the safari and Geoffrey as our chef, the food was amazing and we had plenty to eat as well. Ellie was a good guide and we got to see the big 5 plus loads more animals. We had such a great time with Toilo and a trip I will never forget and I will definitely use them again.

We had a nice safari with TOILO Safaris, our guide Eli was very knowledgeable and he answered all our questions,he's a respectful driver and he caters to our needs and curiosity. He makes detours if we want to. We felt listened to and it was agreeable. The cook was great and fun, the food was so good that there was nothing left after each meal and the quantity of food was plenty. The menu was different each day wich was nice. The manager Julius was very very responsive and catered to all our needs. He even arranged an accomodation for us to rest and freshen up because we had a late flight after the safari. He even contacted us during the safari to ensure that everything went well. The safari itself was good and we saw so many animals and wildlife, truly an unique experience.

An Absolutely Incredible Experience from Start to Finish Our experience with this company was absolutely incredible from the very beginning to the very end. From the moment we booked, Julius was fantastic. He was always available to answer our questions straight away, was incredibly kind and helpful, and made the whole process completely stress-free. He personally picked us up from the airport and made sure everything was organised from the moment we arrived. Before our Kilimanjaro trek, Julius arranged for us to meet our guides in advance. They patiently answered all of our questions and checked that we had all the right equipment and kit for the climb. This gave us so much confidence before starting the trek. Our Kilimanjaro experience itself was exceptional. The guides and porters were absolutely incredible — always smiling, friendly, helpful and going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The level of service was honestly better than what we saw from any other group on the mountain. We were provided with warm washing water every morning and evening, plenty of snacks, and everything was so well organised. The team really made us feel looked after throughout the entire trek. To finish it all off, we were even surprised with a cake and an incredible souvenir, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. After Kilimanjaro, Julius personally met us again for our safari and introduced us to our new guide. The safari was another perfect experience. The lodges were lovely, our guide was excellent, and the whole trip was incredibly well organised. One thing that really stood out was the food. Every day we were given a proper hot lunch, while we noticed that many other groups were having packed lunches. It was another example of how this company consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Julius even arranged our onward travel for us at the end of the trip, making everything completely seamless. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the booking process, airport transfers and Kilimanjaro trek to the safari and onward travel, every detail was taken care of. The whole team were professional, kind, welcoming and genuinely went above and beyond for us. We would absolutely recommend this company to anyone planning a Kilimanjaro trek or safari in Tanzania. An incredible company and an unforgettable experience!

We did a last minute 3 day safari with Julius to Serengeti and Ngorongoron and it was amazing! We were two girls travelling and felt very safe throughout. Julius was amazing - great communication, great deal and perfect itenary! He picked us up from the airport and made everything very smooth. I had some issues with the sim, he even took me to the Vodafone shop and dropped us at the airport in the middle of the night. We saw all the big 5 up close and the cheetah even came up on our van. The tents were nice and the food was incredible! Highly recommend for a great safari experience.

The safari itself was amazing, we saw a huge variety of animals over the two days, including lions, elephants, hippos, antelopes, wildebeests, ostriches, and rhinos (see pictures attached), and the game drives were genuinely a lot of fun. Our guide clearly knew the parks well, and the wildlife viewing lived up to expectations. That said, a few things around the core experience left us disappointed. Our hotel on the first night (Ngare Lodge) was in poor condition: no soap, an open window with no mosquito net letting insects in, a broken door mechanism, and a broken curtain holder. That said, I do want to mention that Julius wrote a formal complaint to the hotel when I shared that with him. On the second day, the itinerary felt rushed and cut shorter than planned since we were sharing the vehicle with another group who had a flight to catch around 5:30PM on the second day of the safari. Additionally, the crater picnic lunch that was listed in our itinerary didn't happen. We instead stopped elsewhere on the way back instead due to time constraints. We were also dropped off on the roadside for about 30 minutes while the rest of the group visited a Masai village, with fairly last-minute notice and no way to reach our driver in the meantime. Overall, the wildlife experience itself was excellent, but the logistics and accommodations around it brought the overall trip down a notch unfortunately. One recommendation for anyone considering booking: make sure to communicate with Julius ahead of time and ask who you'll be paired with in terms of scheduling, to avoid conflicts like ours. Had we known in advance that we were paired with a group that needed to catch a flight the evening of safari day 2, we would have replanned our own trip accordingly instead of booking an extra, ultimately unnecessary hotel night in Arusha.

We booked a 3 day safari to Serengeti National Park, including a sunrise hot air balloon safari, with Toilo Tours & Safaris, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. A special thank you to Julius for arranging every detail so professionally. Communication was excellent, and everything went exactly as planned, making our trip completely stress-free. Our guide, Edwin, was absolutely amazing! He is incredibly hardworking, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his experience and determination, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five along with countless other incredible animals. He always made sure we had the best wildlife viewing opportunities and shared fascinating information throughout the safari. The highlight of our trip was the sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti. Watching the sun rise above the endless plains while wildlife roamed below was breathtaking. It truly captured our hearts and is an experience we will never forget. Thank you again to Julius, Edwin, and the entire Toilo Safari team for creating such wonderful memories. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania!

Excellent is not enough for Toilo and for Julius the owner. I found it stumbled on Google maps while I was looked for an agency in Arusha. Julius has been very kindly and professional as soon I got in touch with him. I would to spend 7 days on Kilimanjaro for hiking and then 4 days for Safari and he sent me a detailed itinerary, with all info I needed. For Kilimanjaro he reserved for us two excellent guides Frank and Angela who follow us for all the week, always smiling, awesome and very skilled! About Safari we spent 4 days between Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with a shared service: everything has been amazing from the guide to the lodges where we slept. Julius is always reachable, if you need some info or help he reply you immediately by WhatsApp taking care of you. Thanks for everything Julius! If you need a good agency do not esitate to contact him, very satisfied!
